The following are the fourth quarter of 2006 annoucements:
OWNER OCCUPIED HOUSING REPAIR APPLICATIONS:
Applications for emergency assistance for housing repairs for the low income, elderly and disabled are currently being accepted. Repairs can include heating and air conditioning, painting, handicap ramps, light carpentry, plumbing or electrical. Call or stop in to CHP's office to pick up an application. Upon submittal CHP staff will inspect the work and assgn a volunteer group to assist in the completion of the job.
VOLUNTEER GROUPS BEING SOLICITED FOR REPAIR PROGRAM:
CHP is currently solicting for additional volunteer groups to assist with CHP's owner occupied homeowner repair program. Civic organizations, businesses and churches are encouraged to particiapte in this program which assist elderly, disabled and low income homeowners with much needed or emergency repairs to their homes. FIRST MORTGAGE LOANS FOR WILLIAMSON COUNTY HOMEBUYERS NOW BEING OFFERED AT CHP:
CHP is now offering first mortgage loans for qualified homebuyers in Williamson County. These loans offer low interest rates, down payment and closing cost asistance and up to 100% financing to enable the potential home buyer to get into a house for a minimal cash outlay.
